Agua de Jamaica


Ingredients:

  • Hibiscus flowers (4 cups)

  • Granulated Sugar (2 cups)

  • Water (8 cups)

  • Lime (1-2)

Instructions:

  1. Start by rinsing hibiscus flowers to remove any dirt or debris.

  2. Add flowers in a pot and add 4 cups of water. Bring to a boil for 2 minutes and then remove from heat. Let sit for 2 hours.

  3. Strain flowers from juice. Add the extra 4 cups of water and lime juice (however much depending how sour you like)

  4. Allow to cool. Serve over ice and enjoy!
